South African Wood Packing Regulations 01/01/05:

With effect from 1stJanuary 2005, any consignment imported into South Africa by sea or air, packed with either wood packing material or dunnage, will require appropriate treatment to remove any pests present (by heat, or fumigation). This treatment will need to be marked accordingly on the packing material.
